This cup is fully vitrified and won’t impart the same taste-enhancing qualities as unsealed Jianzhan cups, so if you prefer a more neutral taste, this is an excellent choice. The craftsmanship is exceptional – this cup is flawless, as are all the cups I’ve acquired from Tenmokus so far. It’s worth mentioning that tea oils gradually coat the surface of the silver lotus blossom, giving it a beautifully rich golden hue over time. Cleaning this cup has never been an issue – the lotus blossom rarely traps tiny tea particles underneath, and when it does, they are easily rinsed away with cold water
